Yorkshire Bull Terrier
As a strong willed dog, Yorkshire bull terrier is often called the workhorse of the canine world, due to its fiery temperament and unbridled courage.
A Yorkshire terrier is instantly recognizable with its down faced, egg-shaped head. They are also known as some of the wiliest dogs, with their strong build, intelligence and determination.
The Yorkshire terrier was more prevalent in the regions of Yorkhire and Leeds in England, after their introduction from colder Scotland. Most experts do agree that the breed what we see today, had its roots in the famous progeny of Scottish terrier.
Probably there was even a mix of characters derived from such breeds, like Paisley and Clydesdale terriers.Though used as working dogs, they soon found their homes in rich estates of English aristocracy in the later parts of 1800’s.
The Yorkshire terrier is a peculiar dog, which is an amalgamation of characters accumulated over several years due to intensive in-breeding. It is not only very compact, but also highly robust in structure and appearance.
Its body is accentuated by pure white coat of short fur. The main body is littered with very short and flat fur, which is black, red, fawn or even tricolor. The ears are usually black colored and very taut and straight.
Being bolder and courageous in attitude, a Yorkshire terrier is very eager for adventure and exploring,and do exceptionally well in urban or rural living.
It can also bark at other animals and intruders, displaying an impeccable guarding nature.With a sole aim to please its master, these dogs are better known for their pleasing mannerism.
A Yorkshire terrier is easy to train and good to maintain, provided it is taught the basics of obedience right from its puppyhood.
As easy going dogs, they do not really need a tough round of exercise, but would love short walks in your backyard or gardens.
Yorkshire bull terrier is a humble dog that is endowed with a well rounded body, with marked protrusion of rib and a deep division from withers to brisket portion, so much that it is almost nearer to the ground.
Shoulders are very strong with a wide and flat shoulder blade. A Yorkshire terrier is particularly good with people at home and has a tendency to display a sportive attitude in obeying your commands and instructions.
Yorkshire bull terrier is a rare breed of dog, even tempered. An owner’s pride and neighbor’s envy.
